American College of Chest Physicians

The ACCP is the world’s largest clinical cardiopulmonary and critical care medical society with 16,600 members in 100 countries. Members include physicians, allied health professionals, and PhDs from the specialties of pulmonology, critical care medicine, thoracic surgery, cardiology, sleep, and other chest-related specialties. Founded in 1935, the ACCP works to promote the prevention and treatment of diseases of the chest through leadership, education, research, and communication.

American Thoracic Society

With more than 18,000 members, the American Thoracic Society is a leading medical association, dedicated to advancing lung, critical care and sleep medicine.

Center for American Nurses

The Center for American Nurses offers tools, services and strategies designed to make nurses their own best advocates in their practice environments. It provides research, continuing education and knowledge sharing to help nurses overcome workforce challenges and realize opportunities.

Society of Critical Care Medicine

The SCCM is the largest multiprofessional organization dedicated to ensuring excellence and consistency in the practice of critical care. With nearly 13,000 members in 80 countries, SCCM is the only organization that represents all professional components of the critical care team. The Society offers a variety of activities that promote excellence in patient care, education, research, and advocacy.

Society of Hospital Medicine
With more than 6,000 members, SHM is dedicated to promoting the highest quality care for all hospitalized patients, and is committed to promoting excellence in the practice of Hospital Medicine through education, advocacy, and research.

American Nephrology Nurses Association

The mission of the American Nephrology Nurses' Association (ANNA) is to advance nephrology nursing practice and positively influence outcomes for patients with kidney disease through advocacy, scholarship, and excellence. ANNA is committed to advancing the nephrology nursing specialty and nurturing every ANNA member. We achieve these goals by providing the highest quality educational products, programs, and services. American Nurses Association

The American Nurses Association is the only full-service professional organization representing the nation's 2.9 million registered nurses (RNs) through its 54 constituent member associations. The ANA advances the nursing profession by fostering high standards of nursing practice, promoting the economic and general welfare of nurses in the workplace, projecting a positive and realistic view of nursing, and by lobbying the Congress and regulatory agencies on health care issues affecting nurses and the public.

Association of Nurses in AIDS Care

Founded in 1987 to address the specific needs of nurses working in HIV/AIDS, the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care has rapidly become a leader in the response to HIV disease and AIDS. With a highly regarded peer-reviewed journal, and an Annual Conference featuring national and international speakers and educational and scientific sessions on the latest developments in HIV nursing, ANAC is meeting the needs of nurses in HIV/AIDS care, research, prevention, and policy.

Emergency Nurses Association

The Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) is the national Association for professional nurses dedicated to the advancement of emergency nursing practice. ENA assists nurses in emergency care settings and related fields in understanding the function, importance and impact of the role of emergency nurses through its professional publications, legislative updates and public relations activities regarding emergency nursing issues. ENA monitors and addresses federal and state legislation affecting emergency nursing health care and practice through its networking system of chapters, state councils, national committees and a legislative consulting service
