Expanded Saturday Preconferences

Due to popular demand, the preconference schedule on Saturday, May 15 will include 13 additional sessions. Choose from the Leadership, Pediatric, Emergency and Progressive Care Pathways, or pharmacological, radiographic, clinical or heart sounds sessions. A Change to Thursday’s Schedule, CEs Added

In an effort to maximize your NTI experience, we have reconfigured the schedule for Thursday, May 20 to include additional concurrent sessions from 7:45-9:00 am. A general session–featuring President-elect Kathy McCauley’s address–will run from 9:15-10:00 am (no CE credit will be attached to this session). The Critical Care Exposition will be open from 10:15 am-1:00 pm, and mastery and concurrent sessions will be offered from 11:00 am-2:00 pm.
Certification Exams at NTI (featuring one revised and one new exam)

Offered by the AACN Certification Corporation and Applied Measurement Professionals, Inc.
Monday, May 17 • 2:00–6:00 pm
Certification is one way to validate your advanced clinical knowledge and tangibly demonstrate a commitment to patients and families, employers and colleagues. At the 2004 NTI in Orlando, we are pleased to offer the paper-and-pencil version of the CCNS exam and the newly revised CCRN exam, with content changes based on the 2003 Study of Practice. Additionally, during the paper-and-pencil session we will introduce the first Progressive Care Certification Examination at a special introductory price. Successful exam candidates will be awarded the new Progressive Care credential.
Preregistration is required for these exams. Special NTI applications may be obtained from www.certcorp.org (click on “What’s New”) or by calling 800/899-2226 (specify CCNS, CCRN or Progressive Care exam at NTI). You must submit your NTI registration form with your test application by March 22 to be eligible for the exam. |
