NTI RESEARCH ABSTRACT AWARDS
Abstracts accepted for presentation will be designated as either oral or poster presentations at NTI. Individuals whose abstracts are accepted will receive a $75 reduction in NTI registration. All other expenses are the responsibility of the presenters. Reduced registration applies to the first presenter/author only. Presenters who have multiple abstracts accepted will be eligible for only one $75 reduction in NTI registration. Four NTI Research Awards will be presented for oral abstracts reflecting outstanding original research, replication research or research utilization. Each award provides an additional $1,000 toward NTI expenses.
Honors a nationally known researcher who presents the annual Distinguished Research Lecture at the National Teaching Institute™ and Critical Care Exposition. The recipient is viewed as a nationally recognized nurse researcher, known for publications, presentations and mentorship in research relevant to acute and critical care. Recipient is viewed as a consultant in area of expertise and has made significant contributions to acute and critical care research.
EXCELLENCE IN RESEARCH AWARD
Recognizes nurse researchers who, through their career and body of research, are furthering the mission, vision and research priorities of AACN. Successful applicants will describe full scope of the research studies they have conducted and how the results have impacted the practice of critical care nursing, specifically the impact on patients and their families. Applicants will also provide a listing of their presentations and/or publications.
