Program Title and Description
This presentation will provide a thorough, practical review of the current ACC/AHA Atrial Fibrillation Management Guidelines. The content of the discussion will include: review of associated conditions, clinical manifestations, benefits of rate vs. rhythm control and use of antiarrhythmic drugs. Surgical and catheter based interventions, as well as updated anticoagulation recommendations will be covered. Pertinent case studies will be explored in order to solidify the application in clinical practice for both bedside nurses and advanced practice nurses.
