1. For up-to-date eligibility requirements and policies, consult the latest version of the Certification Exam Handbook.
2. Before you get started, have available the following:
   • RN or APRN license
   • Name, address, phone and e-mail address of a colleague or supervisor (RN or physician) who can verify your eligibility; and
   • Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express).
3. To log in, enter your AACN member/customer number or e-mail address and password.
   • Renewal candidates are already in AACN's database, so should NOT create a new customer account.
   • Candidates who are not current AACN members will be given the opportunity to purchase AACN membership and pay member pricing for certification.
4. Before completing Check Out, provide your e-mail address (to receive an e-mail confirmation of your application and facilitate our communication with you regarding your application) and your current mailing address (to ensure that you receive your renewal documents).
