Print and Read These Instructions Before Continuing:

  1. For up-to-date eligibility requirements and policies, consult the latest version of the exam handbook for your certification.  
  2. Before you get started, have available the following:
    • RN or APRN license
    • Name, address, phone and email address of a colleague or supervisor (RN or physician) who can verify your eligibility; and
    • Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express)
  3. To log in, enter your AACN member/customer number or email address and password.
    • Renewal candidates are already in AACN's database, so should NOT create a new customer account.
    • Candidates who are not current AACN members will be given the opportunity to purchase AACN membership and pay member pricing for certification.
  4. Before completing Check Out, provide your email address (to receive an email confirmation of your application and facilitate our communication with you regarding your application) and your current mailing address (to ensure that you receive your renewal documents).
