NTI/LDW INFORMATION

NTI is the premier conference for nurses who care for acutely and critically ill patients. In addition to the exceptional educational content and exhibition, NTI provides a phenomenal opportunity to have a great time with your fellow chapter members, while also networking with chapter colleagues from across the country to learn about promoting AACN's key initiatives, to increase your knowledge of chapter management, and to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of chapters during the past year. Chapter Leadership Development Workshop
The showcase event for chapters during NTI is the Chapter Leadership Development Workshop (LDW). Held annually on the Sunday of NTI, this one-day workshop is host to over 300 chapter officers and leaders, providing them with the tools they need to effectively and successfully operate their chapters while carrying out the mission work of AACN. Guided by AACN's leadership, it provides an understanding of the fundamentals of chapter leadership, including good governance with focus on strategic, financial, and educational planning, effective communication techniques, and leadership development.

Registration for LDW begins in the fall, so we encourage you to check this page, often, for updates. Each chapter that sends a chapter leader to LDW will receive a stipend to help offset the travel costs. Additional chapter members may, also, attend the workshop, for a nominal fee.
