Who gives to AACN?

AACN receives financial support from private individuals, AACN members and volunteers, national leaders, local chapters, corporations, government and foundations.

Why do they give?

Each gift to AACN shows a donor’s commitment to support acute and critical care nurses in making their optimal contribution toward a healthcare system driven by the needs of patients and families.

The U.S. Internal Revenue Service designates AACN as a 501(c)(3) charitable, tax-exempt, nonprofit organization. Gifts to AACN are tax deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law.

Tribute and Memorial Gifts

A tribute gift expresses gratitude to an individual or group on a special occasion or for making a special difference. A memorial gift remembers a special person and conveys sympathy to the bereaved.

A note from AACN to the individual(s) receiving tribute or the family of the person memorialized identifies the donor and informs them of the gift. The amount of the gift is kept confidential.
