AACN, and Diane Forti, past president,

A Century of Caring, which features
photographs of two of their chapter’s
Two members of the Southern New Hampshire Chapter of AACN found themselves a place in a piece of history, thanks to their chapter’s presence via a link from the AACN Web site. Photographs taken of Danae Colbath, RN, and Travis Knapp, RN, in their practice settings were included in Nursing Reflections: A Century of Caring, a pictorial publication that reflects the last 100 years of nursing. The book was published in April 2000 by Mosby/Harcourt Book Publishing.
Southern New Hampshire Chapter President Donna Proulx, RN, ADN, CCRN, said the chapter was asked if it could submit photographs of members in clinical settings. The contact came through the chapter Web site, which is linked from the AACN Web site, Proulx explained.
The chapter submitted 20 photographs, which it had originally intended to post on its Web site, for consideration. The photographs of Colbath and Knapp were chosen to represent critical care nursing.
