For the Record: Nine AACN Members Are Now Fellows of the Academy of Nursing

In addition to the seven AACN members who were announced in the January 2000 issue of AACN News as 1999 inductees into the American Academy of Nursing are two other members, Kathleen King, RN, PhD, FAAN, and Marilyn S. Sommers, RN, PhD, CCRN, FAAN.
King is an associate professor at the University of Rochester, Rochester, N.Y., and Sommers is a professor, in the College of Nursing at the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio.
They joined fellow AACN members Margaret L. Campbell, RN, MSN, CS, Anna Gawlinski, RN, DNSc, CS, ACNP, Divina Grossman, RN, PhD, ARNP, CS, Ann R. Knebel, RN, DNSc, Patricia G. Morton, RN, PhD, ACNP, Kathleen Puntillo, RN, DNSc, and Kathleen R. Simpson, RNC, PhD, as 1999 inductees, who were recognized for outstanding contributions to the nursing profession.
