Critical Links: Greater Washington Chapter Leads Campaign

The Greater Washington Area Chapter continued to build its lead in AACN’s Critical Links membership campaign. As of the end of February, the chapter had recruited 59 new members.

Adding 11 new members to its recruitment total to move into sole possession of second place was the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter with 47 new members recruited. Other top recruiting chapters were the Atlanta Area Chapter, with 43 new members recruited; Greater Portland Chapter, with 41; San Diego Area Chapter, with 39; Houston Gulf Coast Chapter, with 38; Greater Cincinnati Chapter, with 35; and Greater Phoenix Area Chapter and Sacramento Area Chapter, both with 30.

With just one month of results to compile, nearly 4,000 new members have been recruited by 932 individuals and chapters since the campaign began May 1, 2005. (See page 9 for individual results.) The new campaign begins May 1, 2006.

Participating chapters are eligible for valuable rewards, including complimentary NTI registration in a monthly drawing among chapters that recruit one member during that month. Receiving the reward in January was the Greater Flint Area Chapter.

The 2005-2006 campaign offers chapters a revamped list of prizes that aligns with individual rewards.

This year, the chapter recruiting the most new members will receive a $1,000 honorarium check toward its treasury. In addition, each chapter that recruits five or more new members during the campaign will be entered into three drawings for $500 honorarium checks.
