This is a very strong application with detailed supporting documentation. Patient outcomes exceed standards and continued efforts to improve are underway. Structures are in place to help ensure that patients receive high quality evidence-based care. Staff members are consistently involved in many aspects of the operation of the unit. Most impressive is the presentation of patient outcome data in the form of a report card to every staff member.
This unit is on the Beacon Journey. There is excellent staff involvement on all levels. It appears that processes are in place to insure bold voices statements, CCRN certification, and professional organization membership. Continue to reach for the goal in these areas. Your Unit Based Council appears to be an example of a best practice. Congratulations!
