AACN Certification Corporation will provide written and/or verbal verification of certification for the following credentials: CCRN, PCCN, CCNS, ACNPC, CMC and CSC.
Certificants who require verification of their current certification may log in to the AACN Web site at www.aacn.org and click on "My Account," then on "Check Certification Status." This will provide you with a printable verification of your certification status.
Certificants may also contact AACN Certification Corporation by calling (800) 899-2226 or e-mailing certification@aacn.org. Provide your AACN customer number, first and last name, where you would like the verification sent, how you would like it sent (fax, e-mail or mail), and the best way to contact you should we have questions.
Verifications will be completed within 3-5 business days of receipt. Requests are fulfilled in the order in which they are received. There is no charge for verifications.
Employers or agencies requiring verification must send a release, signed by the certified nurse, allowing AACN Certification Corporation to distribute the requested information. The request must contain all applicable information including: name, maiden name or any other legal names, certification number and/or AACN customer number, type of certification, date of birth, and any additional information that may be useful in locating the certificant's record.
