Monday Keynote

Kathryn E. Roberts, RN, CNS, MSN, CCRN, CCNS, AACN President
At last year’s NTI, AACN President Kathryn Roberts announced the theme, “Dare To.” Kathryn will share insights and best practices she has learned during her presidential year. Kathryn is a clinical nurse specialist in the pediatric ICU at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Author of the international best seller “The Happiness Advantage,” Shawn Achor is one of the world’s leading experts on the connection between happiness and success. After a long teaching career at Harvard, Shawn has lectured on the “Happiness Advantage” to diverse audiences throughout the world.

Vicki Good, RN, MSN, CENP, AACN President-Elect
At this special afternoon event, AACN President-elect Vicki Good will share the new theme for the year ahead. As administrative director of patient safety for CoxHealth in Springfield, Mo., Vicki has a special appreciation of how our individual professional journeys and our everyday actions enhance the safety of our patients.
