Q: What are chapter charter dues? A: A chapter charter is renewed every three years and is required to pay a dues fee of $120. All chapters are on the same charter cycle. For new chapter charters, the dues are prorated based on the year within the 3-year cycle that the chapter is chartered.
Q: When are the charter dues due? A: The due date is June 30th, prior to the new 3-year charter cycle beginning on July 1st. National sends an email communication to all chapters, three months prior to the due date.
Q: After our chapter pays the charter dues this year, when will they be due again? A: The $120 your chapter pays for dues this year will take you through 6/30/2014, at which time the $120 charter dues will be due again for the next 3-year cycle.
Q: How can we pay our chapter’s dues? A: You can pay your dues online, by phone or by mail. Using the new online service is preferred, as the process is quick and you can print out an instant receipt.
Q: Can I get a receipt if I pay by phone or through the mail? A: Yes. Once the payment has been processed, you can print out a receipt online.
Q: What form of payment can I use? A: Credit card or check. Mailed payments can only be paid by check.
Q: Can I pay the charter dues with an AACN gift certificate? A: Yes. An AACN gift certificate can be used to pay your charter dues; however, it can only be used for payments made by phone or by mail.
If the certificate value is less than $120, the remainder can be paid by check or credit card.
If the certificate value is more than $120, the dues amount will be subtracted from the certificate amount and the remaining credit could be used for another purchase.
