Powered by Insight. The concept of insight isn’t foreign to us. What might be unfamiliar is the notion of looking for insights. I chose this theme for my presidential year because I believe strongly that each of us will benefit in surprising ways when we start to intentionally seek insights, and then make use of them. If you see something a new way, you’ll never see it the old way again.
Powered by Insight is also the theme of AACN’s 2007 National Teaching Institute & Critical Care Exposition, scheduled for May 19 through 24 in Atlanta, Georgia. This premier educational conference for critical care nurses will again be the setting where we will be reinvigorated to turn information into insight that will positively impact our work environments.
