This session is designed to familiarize clinicians with the characteristics and operation of new pressure ventilation modes, in addition to how to select, apply, and evaluate them. The evidence related to new pressure modes is provided to illustrate the “good, the bad, and the ugly” aspects of the modes to enable clinicians to appropriately select and use the modes.
