Sacred Heart Medical Center in Eugene, Oregon, is the largest hospital between Portland
and San Francisco (432 beds) and the only Level II trauma center in Lane County.
Our new riverside hospital opening August 2008 and renovated downtown campus will
host 2 state of the art ICU's. Key services include a 32-bed Neonatal Intensive
Care Unit, a 20-bed Surgical Intensive care Unit that serves open-heart trauma,
neuro and general surgical patients and a 15-bed Medical ICU.
All registered nurses in Sacred Heart's ICU have advanced training, including certification
in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. The ICU is equipped with the most sophisticated
life-support technology available. Working closely with the Institute for Healthcare
Improvement, Sacred Heart's ICU is consistently among the first hospitals to put
in place new protocols to improve patient safety and ensure the best outcomes for
patients.
We look forward to talking with you about our great career opportunities.
