AACN News—September 1998—Membership Directory Questionnaire in the Mail

The AACN Membership Directory questionnaire, originally scheduled to be mailed in July, is now in the mail. The directory—the first planned by AACN—is designed to be a comprehensive resource for members to keep track of colleagues, share common interests, and exchange information and ideas.

Scheduled for publication in 1999, the directory will also be available on CD-ROM. The directory will be available only to current AACN members.

Members can ask to be excluded from the directory by marking the “exclude” box on the form, though participation is encouraged so that the final product will be the most comprehensive list of “who’s who” in critical care nursing practice. Directory publication representatives will contact each member to verify listings.
