AACN News—September 1998—Make Arrangements to Attend Upcoming Educational Programs

Members will have a chance to learn more about AACN and AACN chapters as they network with colleagues at Fall Regional Meetings, which begin this month. Chapter members and leaders will be joined at these fall meetings by representatives of the national AACN Board of Directors and National Office as well as Chapter Advisory Team and Public Policy Advisory Team representatives in each of the 19 AACN regions.

The meetings are an excellent opportunity to hear about AACN programs and services and to ask questions about practice and professional issues.

Educational programs, which offer continuing education credits, are planned in conjunction with meetings in some regions including Region 1 (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont), Region 4 (Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and District of Columbia), Region 5 (North Carolina and South Carolina), Region 6 (Alabama and Georgia), Region 9 (Indiana and Ohio), Region 10 (Illinois), Region 11 (Kentucky and Tennessee), Region 12 (Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi), Region 15 (Oklahoma and Texas), Region 16 (Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming), Region 17 (Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah), and Region 18 (Alaska, Idaho, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington).

The Fall Regional Meetings schedule will kick off August 21, 1998, in Orlando, Fla., and continue through October 1998.
