Up to 14 contact hours of continuing education credit are available to participants in a special 2-day workshop, designed to help nurses maximize their personal and professional learning and growth.
Titled “Personal Best: Strategies and Priorities for the Effective Leader,” the workshop is scheduled for September 28 and 29 in Lake Tahoe, Calif.
Leading the workshop is Timothy Kight, founder and president of the Management Resource Group consulting service. He will help participants identify effective leadership and the principles that influence performance as he offers insight to the challenges of leadership, management, and individual and organizational performance.
Participants will be able to describe the link between individual and organizational performance, as well as the eight principles of “Personal Best” and how each affects performance. In addition, they will be able to identify the eight priorities of an effective leader and how these can be used to improve individual and organizational performance.
