Clinical Scene Investigator Academy
Nurses Leading Innovation
The AACN Clinical Scene Investigator (CSI) Academy is a 16-month nursing leadership and innovation
training program to empower hospital-based staff nurses as clinician leaders and change agents whose
initiatives measurably improve patient outcomes and hospital bottom lines. AACN CSI Academy teams report
noteworthy clinical and financial results while addressing some of patient care's most costly challenges,
such as delirium, VAP, CAUTI, CLABSI, pressure ulcers, falls and unplanned readmissions.
Find clinical solutions and get inspired. The online AACN CSI Academy Innovation Database empowers all acute and critical nurses — not just Academy participants — to lead change that benefits patients and hospitals through open sharing of CSI team findings and documentation. This free, expanding compilation of real-world project plans, interventions, tools, outcomes and resources provides answers to common clinical challenges and inspirational ideas for nurses and other leaders across the hospital.
