Single and Multiple LearnCenter Licensing

Our E-Learning licensing contract terms and pricing are structured to meet the unique needs of your organization. Below is an example of pricing based on a one year term, before applying any available volume discounts.

Think of each LearnCenter as a unique website, designed specifically for your organization, from which designated site managers administer, and learners (or end-users) access, our course content. There is no software to purchase or install.

License term refers to the number of years — one (1), two (2), or three (3) years — an organization would like to have access to AACN learning management services (LMS). Two licensing contract options are available:

1. Single LearnCenter — A Single LearnCenter license is usually appropriate for a single hospital, facility, or chapter. We create one unique LearnCenter (website) for your organization. Your organization’s LearnCenter can be accessed by more than one facility.
2. Multiple LearnCenters — A Multiple LearnCenter license is usually appropriate for a health system, consortium, or multiple hospitals under one contract. When a Multiple LearnCenter license is purchased, it allows the licensed customer to establish the separate Learning Management service access for independent groups of users. We create a unique LearnCenter (website) for each site identified in the contract. A site license fee is paid for each site identified.

End User Licensing

In addition to the purchase of Single or Multiple LearnCenter licensing, separate end-user licenses must be purchased for each student you wish to enroll in any AACN E-Learning program. End user licenses grant individual learners access to purchased and assigned curricula, assessment and personal CNE certificates. Each end user license is valid for one year from the date it is assigned to an end user provided the facility holds an active site license. A minimum purchase of three end user licenses is required with the initial purchase of any license term.

Additional end user licenses can be purchased and used any time during an active license term for Single or Multiple LearnCenters. Any license not assigned to an end user during a given contract term can be assigned in the renewal term. However, if you choose not to renew, any unassigned licenses are non-refundable.

Learning Administrators

Site Manager — Each LearnCenter license includes three Site Manager accounts at no additional cost. Additional Site Manager accounts can be purchased for a one-time fee of $350 each. Site Manager accounts are active concurrent with the term of the active Single or Multiple LearnCenter license, and are extended upon contract renewal. Site Managers can access courseware ordered by the organization without being licensed as an end user. Site Managers perform the learning administration for their Site(s) using the LMS provided by AACN, but cannot receive CNE credit for courses

Administrator-Only — For a one-time fee of $100 each, customers may order additional Learning Administrator accounts with no access to AACN courseware. These administrators only have access to the LMS and E-Learning activity reports for the length of your organization's Single or Multiple LearnCenter license term and/or renewal.
