Webinar System Requirements

Test Your Computer

Please take a few minutes to test your computer to avoid experiencing connectivity issues with your hospital’s network firewalls. Contact your IT department to assist with computer setup and ensuring your access to the live event.

  • Silverlight 5.0 or later must be installed prior to testing.
  • No network blocks or filters that disable streaming media (disable pop-up blockers)

Essential Application for Webinar Viewing

Both Windows- and Mac-based computers require installation of Microsoft Silverlight multimedia application (version 5.0 or later) in order to view the live webinar.

Windows

  • Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista or Windows 7
  • Display resolution of 1024x768 or higher
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 or later, Firefox 2.0 or later, or Google Chrome 1.0
  • Silverlight 5.0 or later
  • Windows Media Player 9.0 or later
  • Broadband Internet connection (750 Kbps or more)
  • No network blocks or filters that disable streaming media (unblock pop-ups)
  • Speakers

Mac

  • Mac OS X 10.5.7 or later
  • Safari 4.0 or later (or Firefox 3.6 or later)
  • Silverlight 5.0 or later
  • Windows Media Player 9.0 or later
  • Broadband Internet connection (750 Kbps or more)
  • No network blocks or filters that disable streaming media (unblock pop-ups)
  • Speakers
