Brené Brown

Brené studies human connections — our ability to empathize, belong and love. She is a research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work and has spent the past 12 years studying vulnerability, courage, worthiness and shame. Brené will share deep insights from her research, which sent her on a personal quest to know herself as well as to understand humanity.

Wednesday Keynote

Teri Lynn Kiss, AACN President-Elect

AACN President-elect Teri Lynn Kiss will share the new theme for the year ahead and unveil the art to illuminate its meaning. Teri is director of Medical Unit-2South and Case Management Services at Alaska-based Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.
