The story

"Being in a room with 7,000 other nurses aspiring to provide the best, safest, evidence-based care was exciting. We shared heart-wrenching stories and uplifting accomplishments. This experience confirmed for me how much we care and desire to heal those who are ill and in need. For me, standing tall for nursing and patients means striving for excellence. As individuals, we each make a profound difference in our patients' lives. Together, we are the professional community with the knowledge, influence and responsibility to shape the healthcare experience for all patients."
