AACN Distinguished Research Lectureship

Funded by a grant from Philips Healthcare

As one of the association's most prestigious honors, the AACN Distinguished Research Lectureship recognizes significant contributions to acute and critical care nursing research. The award is sponsored by Philips Healthcare.

Since 1982, AACN has honored a nationally known nurse researcher to present the annual Distinguished Research Lecture at the National Teaching Institute Critical Care & Exposition.

The honoree is nationally recognized as a nurse researcher, known for publications, presentations, mentorship and consultation in research relevant to acute and critical care nursing.

Eligible nominees are nationally known nurse researchers who have made significant contributions over time to acute and critical care nursing through research. Current membership in AACN is required.

A panel of experts, including past Distinguished Research Lecturers, will select award recipients. For information on nominating or other questions, contact awards@aacn.org.
