Pharmacology CE requirement

APRNs need 25 pharmacology CE points to renew AACN certification. Content must be at the advanced practice level and related to the APRN’s licensed role and population focus. CE points can be determined using the calculation, 60 minutes = 1 CE point, for programs providing CE, CME or CNE that don’t specify pharmacology hours and those that include pharmacology content but don’t provide formal contact hours. Access the Renewal Handbook for details.
