Volunteer Opportunities

The AACN community is comprised of more than 100,000 nurses who serve the needs of patients and families across the full continuum of critical care. Each member makes a unique contribution to our community.

In the past year, more than 1,000 nurses shared their expert knowledge to enhance AACN’s products and services as volunteers.

An additional corps of more than 1,000 AACN Ambassadors worked as liaisons between AACN and their unit and/or facility, promoting cultures of certification, healthy work environments, clinical practice standards and educational offerings.

Thousands more contributed on a local level as members of their AACN Chapter.
