Webinar Summary

The COVID-19 pandemic has created unprecedented challenges and stressors for nurses, caused by staffing shortages, unhealthy work environments and a disparity in compensation practices. These and other challenges are the leading causes of compassion fatigue, moral injury and despair – prompting more nurses than ever to leave the healthcare field. As AACN advocates for solutions to improve working conditions for our community, we want to hear directly how you are feeling, answer your questions and discuss what you are experiencing.

Join AACN President Beth Wathen and board members Tonka Williams and Rebekah Marsh at our next online town hall to discuss the challenges nurses are facing, and hear about the work we are doing with our community to support nurses and nursing. You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions directly to our presenters and interact live. This is part of a new quarterly series of listening sessions where we can speak directly with you and discuss what you are experiencing.
