Kathleen Siedlecki serves a three-year term as a director and the consumer representative on the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) board of directors from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2025.

Siedlecki founded KAS Strategies, where she designs programs to raise awareness, engage thought leaders, influence health policy, mobilize advocates and motivate positive health behavior. Highlights of her past work include leading the patient engagement component of a major health quality program for Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, developing an integrated marketing campaign to launch Covered California, and spearheading the creation of a national health literacy organization.

She was previously senior director for community health communications and a strategic advisor on advocacy, stakeholder engagement and public health policy at Kaiser Permanente, Oakland, California. Her work focused on building awareness of the organization's broad portfolio of community and social health programs.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from California State University, Chico.

In her free time, Siedlecki enjoys hiking and has taken up pickleball.
