Everyone has a story. We want to hear yours.

Sharing stories about our experience as nurses, and individuals, has been part of our collective journey for more than fifty years. With your help we want to shine a brighter light on America’s most-trusted profession and the people who bring humanity, compassion and integrity to nursing – now and into the future. We want to hear your story. You can submit your story in writing using our Nurse Story form, or you can record your story with the StoryCorps app and upload your audio to an archive, which is housed at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress.

Participate in the AACN Nurse Stories Project in partnership with StoryCorps. Since 2003, StoryCorps has collected and archived over 60,000 meaningful conversations with more than 100,000 participants — the largest oral history project of its kind. Now, AACN wants to add your story to the rich tapestry of our history. We invite you to use your voice and tell your story.
