Voucher Purchase Requirements

• Organizations must purchase at least 20 micro-credential exam vouchers initially.
• Vouchers can be selected from any combination of eligible micro-credential exams.
• For future purchases, a minimum of 10 micro-credential vouchers is required, with the same flexible selection.

Managing Your Vouchers

• Micro-credential exam vouchers are purchased and distributed through AACN’s online portal.
• An AACN representative will provide you access to the portal and show you how to purchase and distribute vouchers.

How do I take advantage of the Micro-Credential Organization Discount?

• Your organization must purchase a minimum of 20 micro-credential exam vouchers. Any combination of eligible micro-credentials may be selected.
• Use the request form on this page to begin your purchase. An AACN representative will provide you with access to our online portal to distribute exam vouchers.

Does my micro-credential purchase include AACN membership?

No, membership is not included. However, vouchers for AACN membership are available for separate purchase through our online portal.

Do all 20 micro-credential exams have to be for the same credential?

No. Any combination of eligible micro-credentials may be purchased.

Does the hospital need to sign a contract?

No. Contracts are not required. Simply complete the request form on this page and submit payment to AACN.

Are micro-credential discount prices the same for AACN members and nonmembers?

Yes. The discounted price for organizations applies regardless of AACN membership status.

Can candidates use micro-credential vouchers for retesting?

Yes. Organizations may choose to distribute multiple exam vouchers to individual nurses if needed. Knowing there is a backup option often reduces candidates’ test anxiety and fear of failure.
