Project Goals/Objectives
- To decrease ventilator days by 25 percent
- To decrease length of stay (LOS) for NPPV patients one day
- To increase positive patient outcomes
Project Outcomes
- Reduced ventilator days 35 percent
- Reduced average ICU LOS 1.38 days
- These outcomes resulted in a projected annual fiscal impact of $898,380.
