Project Goals/Objectives

  1. Improve Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) scores 5% related to nurse communication with patients and families
  2. Create a culture of interdisciplinary collaboration
  3. Increase nurse use of electronic health record (EHR) template to 90%
  4. Develop a standardized electronic rounding template
  5. Decrease average length of stay (LOS) 5%

Project Outcomes

  1. Improved HCAHPS scores for patient satisfaction related to nurse communication
  2. Achieved 90% usage of EHR template
