Project Goals/Objectives
- Reduce voluntary registered nurse (RN) turnover 10 percent from Nov. 2015 to July 2016 compared to the previous year
- Increase RN satisfaction on 3D unit, as measured by the national database of nursing quality indicators (NDNQI) with a focus on quality of care
Project Outcomes
- Reduced the rate of voluntary RN turnover 5.7 percent and exceeded goal
- Improved NDNQI Foundations of Quality by .04
- These outcomes resulted in an estimated fiscal impact of $117,500.
