Project Goals/Objectives

  1. Reduce voluntary registered nurse (RN) turnover 10 percent from Nov. 2015 to July 2016 compared to the previous year
  2. Increase RN satisfaction on 3D unit, as measured by the national database of nursing quality indicators (NDNQI) with a focus on quality of care

Project Outcomes

  1. Reduced the rate of voluntary RN turnover 5.7 percent and exceeded goal
  2. Improved NDNQI Foundations of Quality by .04
  3. These outcomes resulted in an estimated fiscal impact of $117,500.
