Project Goals/Objectives

  1. To increase oral care compliance at the bedside
  2. To reduce respiratory nosocomial infection markers (NIMS)
  3. To prevent IVACs

Project Outcomes

  1. Maintained zero IVACs in the unit
  2. Increased oral care compliance from 24 to 68 percent
  3. These outcomes resulted in a projected annual fiscal impact of $21,782.
