Project Goals/Objectives
- To improve family satisfaction 5 percent in each section of the Family Satisfaction in the Intensive Care Unit (FS‐ICU) questionnaire
- To increase the number of Post‐ICU Clinic referrals 50 percent
Project Outcomes
- Increased patient and family satisfaction with care 4 percent, but decreased nurse satisfaction with decision making 2.5 percent three quarters after implementation
- Increased Post‐ICU Clinic referrals 50 percent over three quarters
- These outcomes resulted in an estimated annual fiscal impact of $14,288.
