Project Goals/Objectives

  1. To improve family satisfaction 5 percent in each section of the Family Satisfaction in the Intensive Care Unit (FS‐ICU) questionnaire
  2. To increase the number of Post‐ICU Clinic referrals 50 percent

Project Outcomes

  1. Increased patient and family satisfaction with care 4 percent, but decreased nurse satisfaction with decision making 2.5 percent three quarters after implementation
  2. Increased Post‐ICU Clinic referrals 50 percent over three quarters
  3. These outcomes resulted in an estimated annual fiscal impact of $14,288.
