Project Goals/Objectives

  1. Decrease nurses' perception of missed care 20 percent
  2. Increase nurses' meaningful time spent with patients 10 percent over the next year

Project Outcomes

  1. Increased available time for comfort talk with patients 34 percent
  2. Increased timely medication administration 17 percent
  3. Increased ability to update plan of care 34 percent
  4. Increased ability to teach/counsel patients 43 percent
  5. Decreased nurse turnover 10 percent
  6. These outcomes resulted in an estimated fiscal impact of $282,000.
