Session Summary

This session introduces micro-credentials as an emerging tool for clinicians’ professional development portfolios. Designed for nurses and other healthcare professionals, this session explains what micro-credentials are, where to find them and how they validate focused knowledge, skills, and competencies. Attendees learn how micro-credentials complement continuing education and certification, support ongoing competence and lifelong learning and promote clinical excellence.
