Session Summary

Explore how a high-performing CTICU team achieves 5X Beacon Gold excellence by harnessing the unique strengths of a multigenerational workforce. This session reveals how each generational voice—from Boomers to Gen Z—can serve as a strategic asset, not a barrier. Through the AACN Healthy Work Environment framework, the team cultivates psychological safety and low turnover and sustains excellence in a high-acuity environment.

Objectives

  • Analyze how each element of the AACN Healthy Work Environment framework contributes to performance in multigenerational CTICU teams.
  • Examine leadership approaches that enhance team engagement, reduce turnover and support sustained Beacon Gold recognition.
