Session Summary

You’ve been recruited to join the elite National Teaching Investigative Services (NTIS) team, and the stakes couldn’t be higher—lives are on the line. Your mission: solve a series of critical care cases by cracking the codes hidden in arterial blood gases (ABG) and other clinical clues. Use your expertise in ABG interpretation, pathophysiology and assessment to collaboratively decipher evidence. This immersive escape room challenges your critical thinking, teamwork and problem- solving.

Objectives

  • Interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) results and integrate clinical data to determine underlying patient conditions or diagnoses.
  • Evaluate case-based scenarios to select appropriate evidence-based interventions to correct the acid-base imbalances.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team to communicate findings, share strategies, and solve complex clinical puzzles under time constraints.
