Session Summary

Psychiatric symptoms like delirium, withdrawal and substance-induced psychosis are common—but often misunderstood—in the ICU. This immersive session invites you to step inside the noise of hallucinations through a powerful audio simulation, then equips you with trauma-informed strategies and practical tools to provide care with confidence and compassion. Attendees gain new insight, communication skills and clinical clarity for managing psychiatric presentations at the bedside.

  • Differentiate between ICU delirium, withdrawal syndromes, and substance-induced psychosis.
  • Apply trauma-informed strategies during acute psychiatric episodes in the ICU.
  • Review the patient experience using immersive audio simulation.
