Time 2:15 PM - 2:45 PM PT
Booth 1013

Session Summary

This session focuses on right ventricular (RV) monitoring with the latest pulmonary artery catheter (PAC), emphasizing early recognition of RV–pulmonary arterial (RV–PA) uncoupling, before hypotension and organ failure evolve. Participants will learn to interpret and apply RV-specific parameters as dynamic signals of RV stress, and follow case studies that explore a practical, bedside RV rescue framework that links hemodynamic findings to ventilator, fluid, and vasoactive management decisions.

Objectives

  • Define RV–PA uncoupling and recognize evolving right-heart stress by interpreting RV and PA pressure waveforms and RV parameters.
  • Apply a structured RV rescue workflow that integrates PAC waveform analysis with hemodynamic targets to guide patient optimization.
