Session Summary

Closed blood sampling is recognized as a best practice for reducing blood loss, infection risk, and line manipulation in critically ill patients. Yet adoption remains inconsistent across ICUs. This peer-to-peer session explores the evidence, common barriers to implementation, and practical strategies used by hospitals working to make closed blood sampling standard practice.
