Session Summary

During this learning session, nurses identify optimal vein characteristics to help reduce failure and complications. Nurses always want to go for the biggest vein, but sometimes the biggest vein you can see or feel is not big enough. With ultrasound, you can be precise with vein depth and diameter and choose the right length engage catheter every time.
