Session Summary

This session describes a nurse-driven quality improvement project on a cardiovascular thoracic unit aimed at reducing CLABSI rates through consistent high-touch surface disinfection. Strategies included staff education, standardized workflows, and compliance audits, resulting in a 57% reduction in CLABSI and a six-month CLABSI-free period.
