Session Summary

Shock states pose a significant challenge in critical care, requiring timely and effective intervention to restore hemodynamic stability. This session explores the optimal use of vasoactive drugs in managing shock states, including a comprehensive examination of pharmacodynamics, receptor-specific actions, dosing, timing, clinical application and safety considerations.
