Session Summary

Disengagement and burnout threaten the stability of today’s nursing workforce. This session presents a nurse-led, evidence-based recognition program that strengthens team culture and advances Healthy Work Environment outcomes. The project demonstrated improvement in all six components of the Healthy Work Environment Assessment Tool (HWEAT). Attendees explore practical strategies to design, implement, and sustain meaningful recognition initiatives to elevate nurse engagement and professional fulfillment.

  • Analyze the impact of meaningful recognition on Healthy Work Environment outcomes and nurse engagement.
