Session Summary

This session goes beyond the clinical definitions to explore traumatic brain injury (TBI) through the lens of real-world studies, offering a human-centered approach to understanding its short- and long-term consequences. We examine a range of TBIs through detailed patient stories that illustrate the diversity of injury mechanisms, symptoms trajectories and recovery outcomes. By weaving together clinical data, neuroanatomy and personal narratives, this session highlights the critical importance of early detection and individualized treatment.
