Session Summary

Grab your stethoscope and magnifying glass—there’s a mystery to solve! In this fast-paced interactive session, learners step into the role of Shock Detective. Use hemodynamic hints, clinical clues and patient presentations to crack the case and uncover which type of shock is behind your patient’s decline. Sharpen your assessment skills, detect subtle findings, follow the evidence, and crack the case before the patient crashes and the case goes cold.

Objectives

  • Identify key clinical signs and hemodynamic data associated with various types of shock.
  • Describe noninvasive, minimally invasive and advanced methods of hemodynamic monitoring and perfusion status.
  • Apply critical thinking, assessment skills and hemodynamic interpretation in case-based scenarios.
